Launched in 2016, Milestone Makers selects a small cohort of entrepreneurs to receive individualized business mentoring, coaching, training, and resources all at no cost.

 

The goal is to help entrepreneurs set, hit, and celebrate milestones critical to company growth. Participants are matched with coaches and mentors who are leaders in their industry and given access to customized resources that meet each founder’s needs.

The Center, in partnership with our sponsors, is proud to make this 12-week program free with a pay-it-forward philosophy. Milestone Makers return to teach, share, and nominate the next cohort of great leaders.

African American Business Council Meeting

on April 20, 2022

Megan Daniielle is the owner and operator of Make It Public, a public relations and marketing firm in Wilmington, NC. Her focus is on assisting small to medium sized organizations with their digital footprint and as of 2022 educating those who cannot afford to retain marketing services. Megan Daniielle has almost 10 years of marketing experience and holds a degree in Internet Marketing from Full Sail University where she was awarded the Salutatorian in her class. Her passion is to make sure that all people get the tools that they need to help their businesses thrive. She has failed in business in the past and understands failure first-hand and uses what she has learned to navigate through business present day. She has been featured in WILMA magazine here locally, started her own minority business magazine “Fruition Magazine”, is a member of the National Small Business Council (NSBA), She has also attended, graduated and now is a mentor for the Milestone Circles through the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center presented by Wells Fargo, and is pursuing her PhD in Strategic Media from Liberty University. 
 
Attendees will hear about some of the differences in marketing post pandemic compared to the past and how to stay in the game and thrive.
